Explains the idea of the 'revenge effect' - that technological advance has unexpected and unintended consequences. Some were convincing, but others, especially the medical arguments, didn't really sound like revenge effects to me: is it really unexpected that finding cures for killer diseases results in requiring better chronic care? A good idea spoiled by confusing 'revenge' effects with the 'next biggest' effect.
